How are you people today? I hope you doing well:) my goodness I have
loved getting all your emails and love. Thank you so much for all your
encouragement and support!
It actually seems like a life and a half since I last wrote! My
companion Sister Rosenlund has seriously already become one of my
favorite people. It is insane how close we have gotten in just a few
days. I feel like I've known her forever. We have had a great week
although it feels like a week full of goodbyes. My trainer, Sister
Zemp went home this week...:( seriously I felt like my heart just got
up and hopped to Canada! My goodness. I'm so proud of her. She's my
best friend. My Kurek family moved to Utah this week too. I have grown
so close to them. They are so wonderful and awesome. They kept my
belly and my heart full, but I am so excited because they have moved
to a place so close to home, and so close to USU, it's only a very
short goodbye:) we had one of the greatest services EVER. It was
graduation for one of the local high schools and we got called in last
minute to come help. We drove people around in GOLF CARTS! It was so
awesome. We drove them from the bottom to the top of this hill and it
was so great. It was kinda like Disneyland... But... Better. We even
got to give a ride to a celebrity, although he was really scary and
mean... Look up Dennis Rodman. So guess what... I'm on the California
Anaheim Mission DANCE TEAM!;) you think I'm joking but really it's
basically the best thing ever. We are dancing for the missions 50th
anniversary. It's a Samoan dance and since I'm about as poly as a
blonde hair, blue eyed girl can be... I made the cut;)! See pictures
below. Isabel and Christina are all ready to go for Saturday. It is so
amazing to see these two woman completely change their lives. I have
seen such a difference in them and we can give credit for that to
nothing but the atonement of Jesus Christ. Ryan was able to pass the
sacrament this week. I'm pretty sure there is no better feeling seeing
someone you had the opportunity of bringing to the water to make
sacred covenants, bringing others the means to renew that covenant for
themselves. I, pretty sure that is the feeling of overwhelming joy. I
love this church. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is my joy and
my song.
In honor of Fathers Day, I just wanna give a shout out to the best dad
in the world. My truest, bestest friend, my favorite human Stevo
Mooner. Also a quick little shout out to my grandpa, my uncles, my
bishop, all my adopted dads. I love you humans. I hope you had the
greatest day ever. Most importantly I want to express gratitude for my
Heavenly Father. Of all the titles of respect and honor he is given,
he asks us to address Him as Father. I love Him. He is my greatest
source of comfort. He is my greatest source of light. We truly are His
children.
I love you all to infinity and beyond.
Love,
Sister Moon
