Hello Beautifuls!
Its been another good week in the CAM. So much to do. So much to say.
This week I have definitely had to learn a lot this week about giving
my struggles to the Lord. There have been more than a few times this
week where someone has laid out their problems and struggles and I
just have had to sit there, not be able to do anything. I hate that! I
just want to fix everybody and help everyone be happy and feel loved,
and it wasn't my job this week unfortunately. I'm so grateful that the
atonement allows us to remove our loads of worry and concerns and
place them on the Savior who really is the ultimate fixer.

Isabel and Christina are progressing wonderfully. They were put here
for me, I am so sure. I just need them in my life. They make me so
happy. I was able to sit in on a blessing Isabel was given this week
and she grabbed my hand and held it through the hold blessing. My eyes
just swelled up with tears. I am just so overwhelmed with the love I
feel for these people. Its unreal.

So.... the California Anaheim Mission has a strange reputation for
elders and sisters marrying each other after the mission. Its a little
crazy but seriously 18 couples in the last 2 years have been CAM
couples. (We've even renamed our mission the Couples awaiting marriage
mission)  Its a little crazy, but my good friends Elder Saviianaea and
Sister Fulton, became Frances and McKenna Saviianaea this weekend and
we got to go!!! Seriously the best thing ever! So much love for those
cute love birds.

Well its transfers today... I am so happy to say I am staying in the
Yorba Linda 4th ward for my 3rd transfer. I love this place, but i am
so sad to say that my Tongan Princess is moving on this week. Im gonna
miss her like mad. So many good times. Im excited to start this new
chapter though! I love you guys like crazy. Thank you for your prayers
and love. To say that I feel it is an understatement.
Hugs and Kisses to all yal!
Love,
Sister Mahina

Holy Cow! It has been an amazing week. It actually feels like it's been at least a century since I last wrote, but it's seriously been incredible. Ryan was baptized this week. Highlight of my entire mission. I have never been a part of a baptism where the spirit was as strong as it was that night. It really was just amazing. 2 days before Ryan's baptism, Ryan's mom kinda just flipped out and didn't want him to be baptized. She pulled out all the stops and to be honest I don't blame her at all. She is a loving and tender parent who is kinda worried about her some who met these girls at the door just a month ago and is now joining their mysterious ways. Ryan was amazing about it though. He was able to comfort her and tell her this was his decision and he knew what he was doing was the right thing. Right before the baptism, Ryan's who family walked through the door. It was seriously the most incredible thing ever. As we went through the baptismal service, his mother cried throughout the entire meeting. She was so softened by the sport, and is now interested in having her entire family be baptized. Miracle? Yeah BASICALLY! It was seriously he best night of my life. I'm so grateful I had the chance to knock on Ryan's door that day, because of it, generations will be blessed.

The other family we are teaching is a mother and daughter named Isabel and Christina. They will be baptized June 25. Mates. I just can not contain how much I love these sweet women. It is amazing to be an instrument in Gods hands as he communicates His love for his children through me. I always want to live worthy of that spirit and my calling for that exact reason.

Christina is 8 years old turns 9 the same time as my little Anna. We have become sisters. As we teach them, Christina and I are all tangled up. Her mom just laughs and says "all I needed to do is come to church so my daughter could have a sister!" So beautiful. I love her dearly but she makes me miss my little mini:) Ryan is Harrison's age almost exactly. It's been so we some to teach him and prepare him to do the same things my brother Harrison is doing. Now all we need is a Justis Doppelgänger and I'll have all my siblings in the sunshine state;)
This week has been amazing, but it has also come with many challenges. The words to amazing grace by Chris Tomlinson have come to my mind several times as I have gone throughout my week. Some of favorite words are:

"My chains are gone,
I've been set free.
The Lord my Savior,
Ransomed me.
And like a flood,
his mercy Rains
Unending Love,
Amazing Grace."

How incredibly blessed are we to have the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Not only for the remission of our sins but also because of the infinite grace we receive as we apply it to our lives. I am so grateful for the enabling power that His atonement gives to me. My chains are gone and I have been set free! All things are possible through Him.I know He lives. I know he loves us and knows us perfectly. He truly is a God of Miracles.
Have a wonderful week everyone!
Love you a long time!
