Like the real live Sydney place

Hey Y'all:)
Its been a crazy couple of weeks to tell you the truth. I have been moved out of my beloved Wollongong to SYDNEY. Like the real life Sydney place. Its a different world up here that is for sure. My area is called Hurtsville and its really a party all day all night.(Trust me, I can hear the party all night long from my skyscraper of an apartment.) My companion is the most beautiful human being she is from Vanuatu and she is a total crack up. I cant decide if its a good companionship or not because we cant take our lives seriously;) I love her. We are opening an area which is pretty interesting I will have you know. We just tract like 6 hours a day but we will get it all moving someday soon:)  The highlight of the week was conference. Man. I just dig it. Such a recharge to your spiritual batteries:) Such a testimony builder to see Prophets and Apostles bear such powerful testimonies of restored truth. What a blessing!
So as many of you probably already know I've been quite ill. It has been pretty trying but I just want to thank you all for your many prayers and fasts on my behalf. Without a doubt I can feel them strengthening me and lifting me up. I love you all so much and I am so grateful for you:) Remember, the world wont end today, Its already tomorrow in Australia:)
Love you heaps,
Sister Moonbear

Hello People, I am doing pretty alright. just went to the doctor and I am not dying. They did lots of tests and found nothing. My X-ray indicates that there is deff something wrong with the gut but we don't know why. its a little frustrating... hhahaha but they will keep doing tests.I transferred into the presidents ward. That should be good.  Like seriously they live next door. My chapel is the mission office. its weird!  My companions name is Sister toame she is from Vanuatu and she is adorable. I'm so excited for conference next week! We watch it a week later.
Sorry my letters are lame. Haven't been able to do much this week. Hoping to be better soon and able to get to work.
Love you all heaps and bunches

Please keep her in her prayers.

Hey yall. How ya be? Oh my heck. I just love bein a missionary. Like Im so in the zone!!! Sometimes I dont even think about home for entire dayyyyys! What?? Like I will be getting ready for bed and start praying and I realize that I havent been homesick, not even once!!! Crazy hey?? Like its such a good feel just to be here!! I mean I miss you guys but like I dont have to think about it anymore. ya feel.

This week has been beautiful. Just simply lovely. We have an amazing new investigator guys!!! Like she is amazing!! She is one of our youths friends and she is lovely. She came to the baptism Amelia(one of the Hardwicks) and it was amazing. The spirit was so strong guys!

So liver. Its gross its nasty. I hate it. End of story. But really. We were helping someone in the ward weed and she comes out with lunch for us. Brussel sproats, spinach, and a HEAPINGGGG plate of liver. She sets up a table out side and we dig in. I try it but I just cant. Like man. I have eaten alot of weird things but i just cant stomach it. I start praying. I dont know what to do. But i get a totally genius idea. Like amazing. I start cutting up my meat and everytime i get a bite ready I wait for jenny to turn and BAM! I flick it right off my fork over my shoulder. It works like a charm. There is liver all over the yard. but this sweet lady has no need of knowing that! WRONG. did I mention its a shared yard?? Holy cow. this dog comes over and I turn into sister Liver!! what am I gonna do. Im trying to hide all the liver but man it is so so hard. so eventually I just give in and let him eat it all. I thought for sure I would get caught but I am so ninja like. And I didnt have to eat my liver!~:) hahahaha
I love you guys! too much!

102 days til CHRISTMAS!!!

9-14-2015
Hello everyone:) Its been a marvoulous week full of all sorts of fun! Our really good friend Victor was baptized and it was awesome:) I didnt get the opportunity to teach him but we are buddies and we got to attend his baptism. Hes so cool! I'm so proud of him. I got to spend an entire day in the Rigby of the Illawara. It was pretty magical. I saw horses and cows for the first time in ages! It felt good. But the single most important thing I must tell you all is that.................. There are only 102 days till CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHH HAPPY HOLIDAYS KIDS!!!;)
In other news. Its Killer Magpie season and I'm seriously so scared of them:) Its pretty ridiculous. I see a Magpie and I start running;)

We had ZTM this week! Its was very nice:) Mostly because at anything zone I get to see Sister Nelson and she is my best friend:).

Sister Larita and I laugh till we cry every minute of the day. Its such a relief:) I love her to bits!

1) I survive off an Egg and Fruit diet. Like I eat nothing else unless given to me by a member. Its pretty alright. I like it:)
2) I love this book by Brad Wilcox called the Continuous Atonement! Im learning Heaps.
3) Katrina and Kiri are my favorite humans on the Australian continent.
4) All we do is service. All we do.. Its actually the best because we get to meet lots of people not knocking doors and we love it.

Yeah thats all i got. Im sorry! next week Ill tell you lots of things im sure (Do i say this everyweek?)

"Christ was aware of her because he sent us, and we wore His name"

Hello party people:)
Its been a crazy week. I think I say this every week, but its always so true!! I was surprised to get to go to the Sydney Temple this week with some other sisters who were training as well. What an incredible experience!!! I love the temple. I'm so grateful we have such a beautiful blessing so accessible to us. We have some REAL investigators as well! What?!? its been great to be teaching again. I've been obsessed with the Book of Mormon lately. All I want to do is read it sometimes. Its been such a strength to me. Read it guys!!! Everyday. Everyday. Everyday.
Its been nuts. Training is hard guys. But all the best kinds of hard. I'm being stretched. I don't feel like I know what I'm doing. I'm playing mom but I love it. My companion is so naive and so sweet and I'm so afraid to break her. I'm teaching her English, and how to spend money, she has been so sick so I'm nursing her and I'm just learning to love so much.
Miracle of the week. So Bellambi. Its so ghetto. Scary ghetto. Missionaries get robbed, harassed, its scary. I was going to pick up the other sisters in Bellambi. I was following my GPS and it wanted to take me a weird way and in my head I'm thinking "I know there is a faster way" but I just followed the GPS. I felt like it was the best way for us right now. We whip around this round about (there are HEAPS of these in Australia) and when I whip around there was a little boy, like 1 year old little boy, in the middle of the road. My heart stops. This road is such a fast road. I stop the car and tell sister Larita to go out and protect him while i try to get my car in a safe place. I jump out of the car and the kid is still wandering. Cars are still coming. I'm freaking out. I pick up the baby and just hold him. I didn't even know what to do. I've never felt so much love for someone i didn't even know. I feel like for a glimpse of time I got to feel what God feels for us.He sent me there because he loved this little boy. At this point I seriously have no idea what to do. I'm just praying. A young girl probably 12 comes out and realizes that I have her brother. She just stops in her tracks. And looks at our name badges. It was nuts. She takes him and thanks us over and over again. The little boy blows kisses at me. It was amazing. Its all I've been able to think about since. Why was it me that got to help this sweet family? I just didn't understand. But I know its because I wear His name on my chest. Just me being the one who gave that child back was a testament to that girl that Christ was aware of her because he sent us and we wore His name. It was the coolest thing ever.
I love you all more than I love my self some Tim Tams (so loads basically) Miss you much!
Love,
Sister Chelsea Lou

Hey everyone!!
Its been a loco week with lots to report! Transfers were this week and lots of changes were made! I'm training and I'm oober scared to break my little sister friend! Her name is Sister Larita and she is 4'6!!! for reals! I look like a giant compared to my sweet sister. She is from the Philippians and she is a doll. I love her to death. Sister Stott was moved and we received a new set of sisters into our appartment. 4 girls sharing a tiny flat is quite the entertaining sight. My flat mates are from Tahiti and Japan and they are wonderful! I'm learning so much from them and I am planning to be fluent in cebuano, tahitian, french, and Japanese by the end of the transfer;) Its been a good time. It is raining like mad here and Im soaked from head to toe daily. Being a missionary is amazing.
(Chelsea letter to home funny stuff)
Like I cant believe its only been a week since I emailed!! So first off, Im the palest human ever in this mission, we went on a way fun hike in the RAINFOREST. Did you know I'm in Australia? Sometimes I totally forget! hahahaha we went on exchanges this week and had a gnarly time! Story of the week: So me and sister Mugua were trying to visit an investigator and as we ended our pray we look out the window of our car and there is this super old lady, like ancient!!! and she had pulled out this window screen and was trying to climb up this latter and we come out and she is balling and just freaking out and she got locked out of her house, so SUPER CHELSEA jumps through her window and it was just awesome! My message this week is on service! Do it. There are so many ways to be charitable. Get creative, maybe someday you'll be as thug as me and get to call breaking and entering christlike love:) I love you guys! 1 year more!!!!
Love,
Sister Chels Lou
We are so blessed to have the gospel in our lives! I love you all heaps!

Hey Hey Guys!
Its been a good week. We did a lot of service this week which is my favorite thing ever!! We gardened and painted and did all sorts of fun things. We are going to a waterfall today in the rain forest! so that will be fun. I was asked to speak in sacrament meeting as a walked into the chapel. I have a testimony of the Holy Ghost. I actually didnt do much at that pulpit but i felt so calm and I was able to share so much. I talked about when the tempest was raging and Christ calmed the sea, and I said something like sometimes Christ doesn't calm the tempest in our lives but the tempest in our souls. It was awesome. Like I learned so much from those moments in front of the Wollongong ward. I just love this gospel so much. The other day I was tracting and I was on the verge of a mental breakdown and I just started praying and asking why we have to do so much and see so little come to pass. and then President Hollands voice came to my mind "Salvation was never easy Sis" I'm so grateful for this experience. I love being a missionary!
Stay positive and happpy! I love you to the moon and back!:)
Love,
Chelsea

Justis went to scout camp as a counselor in training. One of his leaders was going on a tip to Australia at the end of the summer and it just so happened to be Wollongong and to visit The mission leader in the ward Chelsea is serving in (small word aye...) He so kindly delivered a package to Chelsea and her companion Sister Stott.  She was so excited to get peanut butter M&M's,clothes, bath and body spray, kool-aid to name a few. Thanks Bull Family
Got Worms?

Member gave me a dress, I think we pull it off! (actually I have worn it all by myself and It is quite cute solo.)

Quote of the week. "Could you die on your mission if you went to a really dangerous place? With like HEAPS of Nephites??" -Ryan age 6

"I don't know Ryan, I mean, It's a miracle I've lived through the 1000's of Nephite encounters I face as a missionary" Hahaha its been a great week:) Its acutally been a double cheeseburger weekend so thats been awesome:) We had zone pday on friday which was so great except it ended with a little bit of crisis when we got the other sisters car locked in a service station and had to sleep 4 extra girls at our house and get them all dressed and ready to go to time out for women the next day at 5 am:) You try fitting two 6'2 Tahitians in your little Chelsea clothes, its a challenge.  But time out for women was AMAZING! I got to meet David Archuletta again which was splendid, but I also got to meet my like all time role model Elaine S Dalton. Holy Cow she is incredible. She gave me the biggest hug and I am so sure that woman was called of God to lead the young women of my generation to the mission field:) Pretty much going to name my children after her:) We had a mission conference yesterday with Brad Wilcox and with a woman named Sandra Turley who was Cosette in the closing cast of Les Mis on BROADWAY! So yeah, Its been a really good week, feeling pumped for the work! I love you all:) Keep smiling and love each other:)

Koala cuddling and kangaroo kissing...

Hey yall! Its been a crazy week and I don't really have too much to report but since i get asked about kangaroos every minute of my life I just thought Id send out a quick message to let you all know that... I saw one, I fed on, I got so excited and I even kissed one!;) I turned into a 5 year old girl at the zoo last week though! It was sooo fun! and i saw everything. I just want to be a koala cuddler.... is that too much to ask? Oh my goodness I love this country and its crazy marsupials! I love you all and I feel your prayers! I hope you feel mine! So Chelsea told us to look up Spider Rain.CRAZY STUFF! Thi was form May 18

Pouring Down Arachnids: Australia's Nasty 'Spider Rain' Explained

Millions of tiny spiders recently fell from the sky in Australia, alarming residents whose properties were suddenly covered with not only the creepy critters, but also mounds of their silky threads. But that's not where the frightful news ends: Experts say that such arachnid rains aren't as uncommon as you might think.
This month's spider downpour in the country's Southern Tablelands region is just the most recent example of a phenomenon commonly known as "spider rain" or, in some circles, "angel hair," because of the silky, hairlike threads the spiders leave behind. Ian Watson, who lives in the region affected by the spooky shower, took to Facebook to describe what this strange "weather" looks like, according to the Goulburn Post.

Hey everybody!! We made it to 5 months. I realize it really isn't that long and thank goodness because we have so much work to do and time goes oh too fast. But we are pretty proud of ourselves that we made it to a whole hand!
This week has been great. Many opportunities to test our faith and burst out of comfort zones. We tracted so much my feet are literally bleeding, and we road trains everywhere to try and meet as many people as possible. We saw so many miracles this week. Investigators came back, new people listened and hearts were changed. My quote of the week is "We set goals to show our faith. We follow up on goals to count our blessings." Sometimes we are afraid to set goals because we are afraid of not reaching them. We are afraid of letting ourselves get discouraged but we can do it! But I promise that as we show our faith and make goals and shoot for things out of our comfort zone and strength, the Lord will bless us and we will have an abundance of blessings to count. I love you all and I hope you are all doing well! Don't be afraid to shoot me an update on you and your families sometime! I love hearing about your adventures as well! Keep Smiling! We have too much to smile about! This week was super great! Read sister stotts blog. Shes is way better at telling stories than I am!!! There are some crazy ones. We have some really cool people in this world!! Just btw. We ran into a member from a different ward this week and he hopped over to our train car and bought us lunch, we were fed almost night, it was awesome. We were hugged and loved, a little girl in the ward made us the sweetest card and basically we have so much to be grateful for. So we have a few investigators again. Grace is from Kenya and she is the sweetest ever. I love her to death. She says the best prayers, the trick is just getting her to read the book of mormon. She needs prayers! So add her to the list! We also have sam who is coming back to us hopefully!! Hes so keen! Put him in your prayers too;) I know! Im so dang bossy! I had my first meat pie this week........ i dont really know how to feel about it.. Like its good but it also sorta tastes like dog food. Im confused. Ill probably have to let you know how i like it as time goes on. I also had weet bix this morning. Aussie breakfast of champions. Its alot like cold oatmeal. Also dont know how to feel about it. but hey! Ill probably come home wanting pies and wheat bix and not being able to get either.:) This week I want you to pray for a missionary opportunity. All of y'all. Can you do that for me? Hears a little secret.... members make the BEST missionaries. For serious.;) Invite someone over for dinner, post something on facebook about your beliefs, send a letter to a friend you know could use a little more comfort and peace in their life, wear your ctr ring, invite someone to the ward chilli cook off! There are so many ways to be a missionary! I promise that as you pray, Heavenly Father will help you know the way you can share the gospel! Heres another secret! Heavenly Father loves his missionaries and blesses them every moment of the day, with safety, with peace, with love. Be a missionary and you'll be blessed! Its super true!!! I love you guys a whole freaking lot. I hope to get some kangaroo pictures your way today but if not, know they are coming next week!!!!:) ahhhhh!
Stay safe and happy this week!

Extra Blessing from Australia!

Hey loves! I hope yous are doing exceptionally well this fine day:) I've offically started my 4th transfer and I feel hecka weird about it. :) I'm staying in Wollongong and its been great. I really hope i get to stay forever;)

Mini mission was awesome! I learned lots from my girls and Im glad I got to spend my week with them but Im glad to be back to the normal schedule.  Weve met some really nice people this week:) They were also border line insane but thats okay:) They were cool. We had zone training and president came and it was way fun. We were one of the top zones this transfer so we got to play games with president and stuff and it was totally awesome:) he also brought this gigantic teddy bear! Ill have to send yall pictures! :) Our minis were polys so we ate alot this last week. We got fed lunch and dinner everyday and we both gained 2 kilos. It was nasty. But ive lost it all in the past 2 days so i think we are fine:)

Funny experience of the week. So remember that guy who kissed me that one time.... Well this week we stopped by to see how he was and we had so much fun. :) anyways. he asked me to marry him. Like serious as ever and i didnt know what to say so I told him Id have to think about it.... So if I get really desprate, I have a 92 year old man for a back up.   Thank goodness...;)

Extra Blessing from Australia this week.  One of the amazing families in Chelsea's ward came to America , (Thank you Stewart Family !!! hugs and kisses, Please fill free to take some back to Sister Moon) Brother Stewart brought a package with him hi from our sweet girl! Candy and koala bears, tam tams Yumm and a fun letter.I though I would share parts.

Here are 10 real random facts about Australia only a missionary would know:)
1) They eat super weird! They eat with both utensils in their hands constantly and your never moves really...you scoop everything to your fork with your knife and then you stick the fork in your mouth.
2) Heck and Dang... but not heck or dang aren't even swear words. I don't really know if they have swear words actually. I've heard quite a few over the pulpit. Its Crazy!
3) Everything is as. Cool as, hard as, wicked as, its super confusing and first cause it either feels like no one finishes their sentences... or they all cuss all the time.
4) A fanny pack is called a bum bag, cause a fanny isn't the most appropriate word.
5) Drop Bear. Look it up.
6) Their are crazy birds everywhere! Its like a zoo.
7)Vegemite is the stuff that's left at the bottom of the beer barrel its this nasty yeast extract that people love.
8) The toilet doesn't flush the other way... disappointing aye? the toilet is actually quite terrifying. Its so forceful!
9)Its common for people to believe in Jesus but not God... How does that even work?
10) When people try to mimic my accent, they make me sound like a hick. Such harsh R's. Anyways!

I love you all so much! The church is true! Love Sister Chelsea Moon

June 29 2015
Hey everybody! Its been an interesting week! Lots of ups and downs, but that's missionary work right? I was welcomed into the Wollongong Brotherhood. I swore on my life i wouldn't give too many details on how to become a member but I think its important to know I'm pretty positive I was poisoned;)  We were dropped by all of our progressing investigators this week... Weird. Two were supposed to be baptized on Sunday but they disappeared. We are going to find them though:)! We met some really neat people though so we will have many opportunities to teach in no time I'm so sure. God always opens up so many doors:) I love this gospel. I love my Savior. I love the people of Australia:) I love you all so much as well. Remember life is good and keep your heads up, cause when you do you'll realize God is always there:) Notice His hand in your life this week and I promise you'll be blessed:) Love y'all:)

July 6 2015

Hello everybody! Its been a super week full of finding! I currently have a mini missionary serving with me, her name is Sister Fa'oa and she is awesome. She is 17 and she is staying with me for the week! Sister Stott also has a mini and so we getting alot of work done! Ive already taken her tracting heaps and I think Ive scared her to death, but she isnt broken yet so... pray for her,  I'm a scary trainer big missionary;) The highlight of the week was getting locked out of my apartment and my my mission president had to drive like 3 hours to save us... It was embarrassing. Thats why I'm sharing it because I have no shame anymore;) I love you all:) Stay happy!
This week we also got to go to this gigantic buddist temple but we didnt get to really see much cause the less active member tour guide had us running through the temple, she had us moving so fast! It was nuts! So we are going back next week so we can catch the whole picture. We shared a very interesting message with her as well. It was dark outside and we couldnt go inside and i WAS NOT leaving till i had shared a message dang it! haha so i just started to sing I stand all amazed.  It was awesome. The spirit was just there. It was a real testimony builder for me because it was so spiritual and i was just so into it and i just dont think ive sang like that for quite a while... BUTTTT i get to the chorus and she stops me and tells me its stupid to focus on that because it was so sad and we need to move forward from the atonement... then she ran inside. What do you do in that situation but laugh?? hhahaha:) we have found some really cool people this week and im so excited to get an opportunity to share with them! I feel your prayers! Keep them coming! pray for all the missionaries! this stuff isnt no walk in the park;) I love it though! Thank you for all the pictures, letters, and love! Ill hear from you soon!

Sister's got Swag

Hey so just btw Australia beat Brazil in the world cup today... No big deal. Who am I kidding? Its a huge deal! ;) this week has been awesome. We met some crazy people and last night in the last hour of the week we passed out like 70 cards on a train because we just need to find people so badly! We've met so many people this week and we have had more opportunities to teach than usual:) This truly is the Lords work. Miracles happen each day,and sometimes those miracles are tiny but so important.
So this week we got so sick. We got a horrible cold and we weren't able to leave our apartment for like 3 days straight. It was awful. But we are doing much better. we are both still coughing like crazy but its all good.:)  we are doing much better. We saw some real interesting people this week. I almost got kissed this week. Well... I did get kissed, but i managed to avoid the lips. I told this little old Greek man that i loved him and oh boy it all went down hill from there. he grabbed my face and oh my heck I've never had to do a head turn so so hard in my life. Phew. We also met this crazy awesome surfer dude named Graham. He is like 65 and he has this MASSIVE beard. He surfs, and snowboards, and sand-boards, with this really cool kite thing. Look it up. its nuts. he also never wears shoes. hes pretty rad. He says god doesn't exist because if he asks god to make a grain of sand float the sand still drops.so the whole gospel teaching is kind of hard. but he has all these crazy philosophies and i love the man. The Lord protects us so much. I cant even believe the situations we are kept from sometimes. I definitely feel your prayers, i hope you feel mine. I love you all so much:)
Love,
Sister Moon
P.S. Im gonna be the weirdest return missionary. I can already feel it.... So prepare yourselfs. love you:)

Aussie Sister

So last week was the the Queens Birthday so we did not get our email on Sunday night(her Monday) so i am including to weeks in one post.

June 10, 2015
hello everybody!
This week has been wonderful! Australia is beautiful!:) The work is hard but we are up for the challenge! I'm in an Area called Wollongong with my companion Sister Stott! We knew each other at university and shes from Idaho Falls! Its been great! Everyone thinks I have a thick accent and i can barely understand what anybody says but soon enough! I miss you all terribly and hope you are doing well!
I love use guys! (only Australian I can manage currently;))
June 15, 2015
Hey Y'all:) It's week two and still no kangaroo. I hope you are all having a wonderful day (night for most of you) It been a beautiful week here is little GIGANTIC Wollongong:) Nothing too crazy to report but I'm loving this crazy place. My ward is great and we even get a few chances to teach during the week. I love you all and hope life is treating you well:)
This week has been quite eventful. We had zone training which here in this GIGANTIC mission is a pretty big deal actually because our zone covers a ton of land. Sister Nelson is in my zone and boy it was so good to see her! I love that little child so much:) we had zone p-day Friday and we went to the beach and played rugby and collected shells and oh my heck it was so fun! I wish we could see other missionaries more often, that's something I really miss about California, but its fun to see other missionaries 2 times a transfer I guess! It makes it special. Also, the more time I spend on the beach, the more I realize that I'm just a mermaid out of water. Truth. I love it;) we have a few investigators. Thomas is at the uni and he's pretty keen. he has had a few baptism dates and really wants to be baptized but he is Chinese and his parents approval is pretty key in his like and respect and honor are so important and his parents just wont let it happen. we pray and pray for soften hearts though. We have an Investigator named Amy who is awesome as well. Shes getting baptized in 3 weeks hopefully with her daughter Paige.  The people get easier and easier to love, and the accent is starting to sound beautiful, even if the person with the accent is swearing at you, it just sounds better! the ward is my favorite. I've already grown attached to my favorite family(the Stewarts) and we spend a lot of meals there! holy I'm so scared I will be fat by the end of this mission thing, Australians do not take food lightly. hehe.  its been a hard hard adjustment but I'm starting to like it more, a lot of fasting and prayer has happened the past couple of weeks. I'm happy though. Smiles and smiles:) Ill send y'all a real letter soon!
 Keep smiling!
Love, Sister Moon

Happy Memorial Day! I love this holiday! I hope you guys are doing
something really fun this weekend! I know I am:) I'm currently writing
this email on Sunday night, just waiting for the crazy day we have
planned for tomorrow:) it is my last pday so we are from a live it up.
We are going bowling and going to get food and we are having a picnic
and going shopping and ahhhhh! I'm just so excited:) the time is going
so fast though. I pray that it will slow itself just a little bit but
it won't.

This week has been quite the adventure. I will just highlight a few
events of this week. I think one of the more pressing memories of the
week was cleaning up poo from all the baptismal clothing. Grossest day
of mah life. Someone had decided to stick poop like in every crevice
of the dryer and put every piece of baptismal clothes through. It was
a messy situation. It was pretty sick.
Our investigator had her baptismal interview today and she is so ready. :) I am so excited!! She is so wonderful:) we had a meet the Mormons night and our other investigators came!! Dude.I love that girl. Seeing her make it to baptism will be the greatest thing in the world. I just pray that someday she will understand. :)
sorry this is the most boring letter in the world, golly.

Today is my get ready for Australia Day:) I am excoted:) sister Gomez got her visa too so I won't be alone :,) tears of joy!! President Taggart actually gave me a blessing on Tuesday and
Part of the blessing he gave is that I wouldn't have to travel alone
and boom, by Wednesday sister Gomez had a visa. Best day ever. Another part of my blessing was that my family would be protected by guardian angels and that my family who has passed on would protect you and aid you especially in these next 15 months. I know this is true. I know how well you are being watched over and how you are being taken such good care of. I love you guys!
here are some pictures from the week:)
1. I was given this dress by a little family who I just adore. It's
kinda reminds me of a wedding dress and I feel like I should elope or
something when I wear it, but I wear it anyways because I love them so
much, and it makes me feel like a princess:)

2.My first tortilla. Basically a superstar Mexican. I've officially
been adopted by the culture. Trust me. My initiation was done by a
very reliable source;)
3.Shawarma. It's this Lebanonise  food that they eat in the avengers,
basically iron man status.
5. Yeah....

Hello hello:)
How are you guys today?  I hope they are all super bombastic.

This week has been miraculous. Seriously. God just loves his children
so much and it's my job to tell them and it's just super cool. We have
someone on date to be baptized! She is getting May 31st
baptizedt!!( that's right! The day before I leave!) if all
goes well the other girl we have been teaching will be baptized on this day too!

We took her on a  temple tour this last week, which was so awesome. It
was awesome. Holy cow! Do we have an awesome weekend coming up or what?!

The family we have been praying for just fell into our
lap this week. Holy cow. They are so cool! We didn't have to commit
them to anything. They just asked if they could come to church and
have us over and bam! It's seriously awesome!!

Something we do every week is we go to this awesome soup kitchen
called Mary's kitchen and feed the homeless. It's basically like
living my orphan dream weekly. It's amazing. I love it. We get to meet
so many just awesome people!

We had zone conference this week. I LOVE ZONE CONFERENCE! It just
kinda boosts you up and makes you feel like you can conquer the world.
A quote that I feel like is very applicable to the real world is "if
you can believe it in your head, and feel it in your heart, you can
make it happen." I love it. You guys can do hard things!!!

I was super sick yesterday. I'm pretty sure I had the stomach flu and
it was lame, but sister zemp just cuddled me and told me stories. It was lovely;)

I'd like to leave you with a little Anaheim Mission Grammar Lesson.

"Sick missionary"-  slightly disobedient missionary.
"Will you be coming in Pross" missionary clothes
"That's totes Apos."- real disobedience
"Too trunky for words" -homesick
"Zone Lord"
"District dictator"
"Bye Felicia!"

Hahaha anyways. Hope you are all doing awesome, I love you to the moon and back!
Seester Moonshine;)

Sometimes they just put super random canoes in parking garage

We went on a way fun scavenger hunt today:) pictured isme, zemp,Davis, moea'i ,and sister Taggart

It's Time!

Well everybody! The time has come! It's pretty bitter sweet to be
honest. I have loved my time here in Anaheim. I feel so absolutely
blessed to have been sent here for the short 3 months I've gotten, but
I guess it's on to the next! Australia here I come:)!

This week we did awesome and we are just thriving here:) a lot
of time success isn't measured:) you can never measure how much work
you do, or how exactly obedient you are, you can never measure the
love you give, or the amount of time you saw the hand of God in your
life as a missionary. :) I'm loving it.
Love Sister Moon

Chelsea shared lots of fun things with us on are Skype visit Sunday but my favorite thing was when she sang to us and then left us with a word of prayer. It felt like we were together kneeling in our family circle.  Thanks to all writing her.
She would be so excited to get to Sydney Australia and have mail waiting for her. She is excited to get to Australia, but leaving California and this wonderfu mission is going to be very hard for her. It will bring a new kind of homesickness. She will become just as attached to these people and missionaries I am sure but your love and thoughts will really help.

This week didn't get a much of a letter but some fun pictures. She Loves the Anaheim, California Mission.  She is starting to worry about how sad she will be when her visa comes and she has to leave.  She has said  said that she would be happy staying right were she is. They are teaching a girl that is close to baptism and she loves doing splits with the Young woman in the area.  She is so happy and being blessed. Thanks for supporting her!
